Upcoming Events

The NPA Team will Screen, Test, Assess, and Train each athlete for mechanical flaws, functional strength weaknesses, speed deficiencies, and negative emotional tendencies. This helps us customize our instruction to each athlete and address weaknesses without changing the player’s signature. The point in time velocity capacity evaluation allows National Pitching coaches to analyze an athlete’s current and potential pitching velocity capacity. Once we learn this information, we determine whether an athlete is reaching their capacity and addressweak links that are preventing them from reaching their full potential.

3 Day S.T.A.T CAPACITY CAMP – $1,995

Learn your projected velocity capacity and other key performance indicators at this all encompassing 3 Day Camp with Tom House and NPA San Diego! This camp is designed to help players of all ages and abilities realize their potential. You will be working alongside current professional baseball players in an environment conducive to individualized information and instruction.

3-Day Program

Friday

  • Biomechanics Lecture from Tom House & NPA San Diego Staff
  • Point In Time Velocity Testing, Introduction to National Pitching Association Drills and Philosophies
  • Block Training, Core Temperature Elevation, Arm Care and Recovery, Body Work, PNF Work
  • Aerobic/Anaerobic Work (For Recovery)

Saturday

  • Functional Strength and Nutrition Lecture from Tom House & Staff
  • Block Training, Core Temperature Elevation, Arm Care and Recovery, Body Work, PNF Work
  • Flat Ground Play Catch (Throwing Progression), Flat Ground work (Drills for Skills), NPA Training Blocks 5-9
  • Aerobic/Anaerobic Work (For Recovery)

Sunday

  • Mental/Emotional Lecture with Tom House & Staff
  • Mound Work/Bullpens (Personally Adaptive & Individualized Drills for Skills), Learning New Pitches
